Accounts & Stats
- Guest practice: your totals stay in browser cookies. Refreshing, switching pages, or closing the tab won’t erase the current day.
- Google sign-in: syncs your history so per-mineral accuracy, streak, and daily activity follow you across devices.
- Signing in for the first time imports any guest progress on that browser so you don’t lose earlier work.
- The Stats page shows overall numbers, per-mineral accuracy, daily bars in Pacific Time, and a streak indicator.
Daily Totals & Streaks
- "Answered today" and "Correct today" track your progress for the Pacific Time calendar day.
- Streaks increase when you log at least one answer on consecutive days.
Starter Mode
Starter mode is designed for people starting out with ID. Each mineral in Starter mode has only 10 hand-selected images that showcase key identification features without overwhelming variety.
- Recurring images help get the hang of mineral ID when starting out.
- Great for building confidence before moving to the full image library.
- Only shows minerals on the Regionals list
- Stats track separately—see your progress in Starter mode vs. other modes on the Stats page.
